Merriment Maker's Box of Delight!

As I'm sure you will be delighted to hear, The Merriment Makers is returning this year with our "Box Of Delights" Pop Up event!  Loosely inspired by the classic Children's Christmas novel of the same title, by John Mansfield we are creating a world with many woodland creatures, snowy landscapes and of course, a box of delights that can transport you though time and space!

With this ever-so-slightly ambitious theme in mind, we have invited a host of excellent local artists, makers crafters and grafters to create their very own Box of Delights, packed with their goodies, intended to transport you into their world!  Above you can see a snap of our very first box of goodies to arrive in to Merriment Makers Land, from the very talented Lucy Roscoe.

We hope you will take a wonder through our craft space, and perhaps even join in our crafters table!

The Merriment Makers Christmas Boutique Pops-Off after another amazing year

As we closed our doors tonight we had a few straggelers coming in an almost panicked state scooping up their chosen selection and tucking them under their arms.  If you suddenly remember you can't get through Christmas without that little someghing you found behind our now rather steamy windows, please just send us a wee message and we will sort you out, put you in contact with the maker directly or point you to their nearest stockest... biggest supprize is this fantastic jacket stayed on the manequin all weekend, even through the Satruday Night Fancy Dress Seshion!

A HUGE thankyou to everyone who came, saw, bought, helped or sent their merry wares - wouldn't have been the same fun-filled weekend with out you.
